Future Cell Phone Bills, Here I Come

So yesterday I’m sitting at the table checking e-mail after snack time and Sweetness is happily playing by herself. Mr. Man is zonked out in bed. Soon it becomes apparent I’m not sure what she’s saying, but she’s really intent on it. When I look over to see what she’s up to, I grab the trusty iPhone and this is what I capture. Should I perhaps worry about the future cell phone expenditures?

Nevermind that she’s drug out her stool so she can stand up and play with her brother’s first birthday balloon, which she likes to, hug, kiss and say “I love you” to. I’m not entirely certain what that is all about, and frankly I find it disturbing that she’s showing an affectionate preference for blow up objects. If I catch her doing that with my camera, you can be sure I’ll share it here!

Oh I love it. Especially when she keeps looking at you as if you’re eavesdropping on her conversation. My niece is about the same age of your daughter and she does the same thing, except she’s figure out how to call my mom and then just breath heavily into the phone.

That’s hilarious! I, too, am afraid of my future phone bills because my daugher, who is only 16 months old and about a dozen words in her vocabulary, will walk around the house properly holding my Blackberry and say, “Hi! Oooh. Uh. Uh. Bye!” Or something along those lines. Speakerphone is the new fave in our house so she can participate in calls without freaking me out wondering if she’s going to disconnect my call. 🙂
