A lot of us moms here in cyberspace are not only interested in parenting issues and experiences, but we’re also doing a lot of writing ourselves – be it blogging, commenting on blogs, writing articles for submission, sharing stories, or participating in a forum.
Yet, many of us aren’t journalism majors, or even enjoyed our writing classes when we were forced to take them.
Whether we’re professional written communicators or not, we all do have one thing in common here – we are communicating through our writing.
There’s no shortage of advice and insight on mom and parenting issues on the Internet, but one area where we could all use a little insight is writing for moms. That’s where Mel at Adventuroo and her MomComm Monday comes in mighty handy.
Today I’m guest posting over at Adventuroo and I’m mighty excited about it. Even though I do have a journalism degree and write for a living, I’ve found checking in with Mel every Monday always results in some new insights – be it changing how I write for blogs, tips on improving how I write comments to posts I read, social media insights, or even learning a new WordPress plugin or two to make my own blog a little better.
